ToRK 2021
Robotics is an interdisciplinary field that is in the common interest of Robotics, Computer, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering and fundamental sciences and it is one of today's intensively studied research areas. Turkish Robotics Conference (http://tork.org.tr/) is a conference series that was first held at Middle East Technical University in 2014. The aim of ToRK 2021 is to bring together researchers, students and industry working in the field of robotics via (a) invited speeches, (b) workshops and (c) trainings, (1) to raise awareness of the activities in many different sub-fields of robotics, (2) to share technological developments with the Turkish robotics community (3) to assess the needs and capabilities of our country, and (4) to discuss with industrial participants and scientists how to make the industry work together with the scientists to evolve the companies to be international competitors in the field of robotics. This group of researchers that formed ToRK are very active in IEEE events and associated journals. IFToMM patronage of this conference will make IFToMM and its activities visible to the ToRK researchers and raise awareness for possible contributions of these researchers in IFToMM activities.
