Abstract:

The IFToMM Summer School MDAMM aims to provide early-career researchers, doctoral candidates, and advanced students with in-depth insights and hands-on experience in modern approaches to the design, analysis, and control of mechanical systems and robotic platforms. The program is designed to foster interdisciplinary learning and collaboration within the broader IFToMM community.

Key topics include mechanism design, 3D printing for rapid prototyping of mechanisms, simulation techniques for mechanisms, as well as kinematic and dynamic analysis methods. The curriculum further encompasses the integration of sensors and control systems in manipulators and mobile robots, environmental perception technologies, and advanced control algorithms. Application-oriented sessions will demonstrate how these technologies are implemented in real-world machines and robotic systems.

By addressing these cutting-edge areas, the Summer School not only enhances participants' theoretical knowledge and practical skills but also strengthens the global network of young researchers in the IFToMM community. The initiative is expected to have a lasting impact by promoting innovation and collaboration across the diverse fields of mechanism and machine science.
