The National Conference of Mechanical Engineering is held biennially promoted by the Spanish Association of Mechanical Engineering, AEIM. In its XXV edition, this Conference is organised by the Mechanical Engineering Group of the Department of Structural and Mechanical Engineering of the University of Cantabria and will be held on 11, 12 and 13 June 2025 in Santander (Spain), at the facilities of the College of Industrial and Telecomunications Engineering of the University of Cantabria.
Continuing with previous editions, this XXV National Conference of Mechanical Engineering aims to provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of the most recent advances in the field of Mechanical Engineering in Spain.
All abstracts and papers received will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee of the Conference. Those that are finally accepted must be presented at the Conference by one of the authors, either as an oral presentation or as a poster, and will be published in the proceedings of the Conference in the journal "Anales de Ingeniería Mecánica", published by the Spanish Association of Mechanical Engineering.
The Spanish Association of Mechanical Engineering (AEIM) awards two prizes among the papers presented at each National Mechanical Engineering Conference:
- Prize for the best basic research paper.
- Prize for the best applied research paper.
- Biomechanics
- Computational Kinematics
- Dynamics of Multibody Systems
- History of Machines and Mechanisms
- Manufacturing Engineering and Metrology
