CNIM 2027

The XXVI National Congress on Mechanical Engineering (CNIM 2027), organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) under the auspices of the Spanish Association for Mechanical Engineering (AEIM), serves as a leading biennial forum. The congress aims to promote the exchange of cutting-edge scientific and technical knowledge, share professional experiences, showcase competitive research projects, and foster long-term interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation.
The conference covers a broad spectrum of fundamental and applied topics within Mechanical Engineering, including mechanism and machine science, structural dynamics, mechanical design, manufacturing, thermal and fluid systems, advanced materials, and robotics. All accepted papers undergo peer review by the Scientific Committee, receive a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), and are published in Anales de Ingeniería Mecánica, with selected outstanding contributions targeted for publication in prestigious international journals.
CNIM 2027 is addressed to academic researchers, industry leaders, engineering practitioners, doctoral students, and educators from the Spanish mechanical engineering ecosystem, as well as international colleagues and delegates interested in expanding their professional networks and research partnerships.
The conference strongly aligns with IFToMM’s core mission to advance mechanism and machine science and facilitate worldwide scientific exchange. To foster active integration and ensure broad engagement from the international community, dedicated IFToMM sessions will be conducted in English, offering a globally accessible platform for IFToMM members and delegates to present research, exchange innovative ideas, and establish international joint projects.
