Rotordynamics 2026

The 12th IFToMM International Conference on Rotordynamics will be held in Lahti, Finland, from 22nd to 26th June 2026. This conference is organized every four years and provides an opportunity for professionals working in rotordynamics and related fields to present research, discuss developments, and exchange technical knowledge.

The tradition began in Rome in 1982 and has since continued in major cities around the world, including Tokyo (1986), Lyon (1990), Chicago (1994), Darmstadt (1998), Sydney (2002), Vienna (2006), Seoul (2010), Milano (2014), Rio de Janeiro (2018), and Beijing (2023).

The conference will cover all major topics related to rotor bearing support systems, including latest developments in theoretical, numerical and experimental aspects of rotordynamics. The event aims to facilitate communication between academic researchers and industry professionals, contributing to the ongoing development of the field.

The conference is expected to attract a broad range of participants and support the continued visibility and relevance of IFToMM within the rotordynamics community.
