MuSMe2024
Modern systems can be considered as integrated systems that can be properly studied, designed, and operated by
using Mechatronics viewpoints, but even considering the multibody architecture. Indeed, multibody system kinematics
and dynamics can be thought as fundamental disciplines for Mechatronics approaches in designing and operating
modern systems.
The aim of The International Symposium on Multibody Systems and Mechatronics -MuSMe- symposium is to bring
together researchers and students from the broad ranges of disciplines referring to Multibody Systems and
Mechatronics, in an intimate and stimulating environment. Single-session format will be adopted for the oral
presentations of the papers, enabling the exchange of knowledges. English will be the working language of the
Symposium and will be used for the proceedings, the presentations and discussions. Contributed papers are invited in
the broad areas of Multibody Systems and Mechatronics and not restricted to the topics: Analysis and synthesis of
mechanisms, Dynamics of multibody systems, Design algorithms for mechatronic systems, Simulation procedures and
results, Prototypes and their performance, Experimental validations, Theory of mechatronic simulation, Mechatronic
systems, Control of mechatronic systems.
This will be the 8th edition of this symposium and, as the past editions, we expect the active participation of
researchers from the IFToMM community, specially from the TC for Multibody Dynamics and from the TC for Robotics
and Mechatronics.
