Technical Committee for Tribology
Mission & Organization
Tribology is an interdisciplinary science that deals with all problems related to friction, wear and lubrication.
The mission of the IFToMM Technical Committee for Tribology (TC-Trib) is to promote collaborations and scientific interactions among the members of the international community, to organize conferences, workshops, webinars, student trainings and events, also in cooperation with the PCs, CDGs and the other TCs, and to participate in IFToMM congresses and other activities.

The last TC-Trib meeting was held during the 5th International Tribology Symposium of IFToMM, ITS-IFToMM 2024 (May 6th to 8th 2024, Salerno, Italy). https://www.iftommits2024.it/
