Mission & Organization

The Technical Committee for Transportation Machinery of IFToMM advances the application of mechanism and machine science in transportation through international collaboration, rigorous research, and the exchange of knowledge across disciplines and national borders. The Committee promotes innovation in the design, dynamics, control, analysis, and sustainable development of transportation machinery, while preserving and learning from historical achievements in the field. Through joint initiatives and engagement with students, researchers, and practitioners, the Committee contributes to building a global community dedicated to addressing present and future mobility challenges. It also supports the gathering and dissemination of knowledge related to the dynamics and control of transportation systems and their applications in engineering and science.
