Mission & Organization
The Cross-Disciplinary “IFToMM Young Faculty Group” seeks to join young professors and lecturers from all the world involved in topics covered by IFToMM and to unveil the opportunities and networks in academia that can emanate from the corresponding research fields. Possible fields of activities are workshops with information and experience exchange, presentation of new ideas for shaping modern faculty positions related to IFToMM, presentation of research networks and their potential of international cooperation, and networking across world borders for common projects with future.
To this end, we are launching a survey, so we can identify what moves a young faculty. You can help us answering it here.
Next meeting of the IFToMM Young Faculty Group will take place online on Nov 29 at 13:00 hrs CET. If you want to participate, please send an email to cdg2youngfacultygroup@iftomm-world.org with the subject “Meeting IFToMM YFG”. In the body of the email, please indicate your name, country, institution and a brief introduction about yourself. Then, you will receive an invitation later on. 🙂

1st IFToMM YFG-MMS: The IFToMM Young Faculty Group Symposium on Emerging Fields in Mechanism and Machine Science is a space for young faculty members for presenting high level research and networking. The 1st version of this conference will be held online between Nov. 19-21. For the call for papers and important dates, click here.
2nd IFToMM YFG-MMS: In this conference, young faculty members have the oportunity to meet and share high level research and get to know other young faculty members. We want to broaden our network together, yours and ours, so we can advance as young professors/researchers. Call for papers coming soon!
